General terms and conditions Treatments

I use a number of general conditions to ensure that the treatment you want to undergo as smoothly and relaxed as possible. If you make an appointment with Aimée Vriend Holistic Massage & Beauty Studio, I assume that you have read and agree to these conditions.

When making an appointment, you will be asked for your telephone number and/or e-mail address.
Prior to the first treatment, I have an intake interview with the client. The client is responsible for the correctness of this (medical) information that he/she provides during this conversation. Based on this, the treatment can be given in a responsible and safe manner.
In the event of changes in the client's situation, he/she is responsible for communicating this to me.
All information you tell me during the intake interview and treatment will be treated confidentially. These will never be provided to third parties without your written permission.
No medical diagnoses are made at Aimée Vriend Holistic Massage & Beauty Studio. When in doubt, I can refrain from treatment and you will be referred to a doctor or specialist.
With fever, flu, and boils (anywhere on the body), massaging is absolutely not allowed. In case of acute injuries, high blood pressure, and illnesses, it is advisable to ask your doctor for advice before making an appointment.
Appointments made can be canceled free of charge up to 24 hours prior to the appointment. Canceled appointments within this period will be charged for 50%. Forgotten appointments (No Show) within this period will be charged for 100%.
Payment is made immediately after the treatment and preferably takes place via the mobile banking app or a payment request. Payment can also be made in cash.
Aimée Vriend Holistic Massage & Beauty Studio is not responsible for damage, theft, and/or loss of personal belongings of the client.
Erotic and/or sexual messages are not part of the treatments that Aimée Vriend Holistic Massage & Beauty Studio offers. Clients who do respond to this are immediately requested to leave the practice and are no longer welcome.
By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you also declare that you will not hold Aimée Vriend Holistic Massage & Beauty Studio liable for side and/or aftereffects that could possibly be the result of a treatment that has been given to you.

General terms and conditions for courses and training

General terms and conditions with regard to participation in the courses and training provided by Aimée Vriend Holistic Massage & Beauty Studio

Article 1: Applicability
Any legal relationship between Aimée Vriend Holistic Massage & Beauty Studio and the person and/or representative of this person participating in one of the courses or training courses organized by the school hereinafter referred to as 'student', is exclusively governed by the present requirements.

Article 2: Registration
The student can register orally, in writing or by e-mail. As soon as the student has registered, the student will receive a confirmation of registration and a request to provide contact details (name, address, place of residence). As soon as Aimée Vriend Holistic Massage & Beauty Studio has received these contact details, the student has a 14-day reflection period. After receiving the contact details and the 14-day reflection period, Aimée Vriend Holistic Massage & Beauty Studio sends an invoice and a payment obligation arises for the student. The full course fee must be transferred within the term stated on the invoice.

Article 3: Health declaration
Registration for a course automatically and immediately implies that the student declares to be physically and psychologically healthy and that he/she bears full responsibility for the possible consequences of following the course or training for his / her own body and health. Aimée Vriend Holistic Massage & Beauty Studio cannot be held liable for any physical or mental injury as a result of participation in the course and/or the resulting activities undertaken by the student himself.

Article 4: Payment obligation
After registration and receiving the invoice, the student is obliged to pay the course fee due in cash or by bank account. Unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing and explicitly agreed otherwise, the full course fee must be paid within the date stated on the invoice. If payment is not received on time, Aimée Vriend Holistic Massage & Beauty Studio reserves the right to refuse participation until the course fee has been paid. If the payment obligation is not fulfilled, a collection agency may be called in. All costs involved are at the expense of the student. The monthly interest is charged on the amount due. The student is in all cases responsible for fulfilling the payment obligation, even when the payment is made by third parties or when the billing address is different from the home address.

Article 5: Cancellation
After registration has become final (see article 2 of these General Terms and Conditions), the student can cancel his participation in writing or digitally, subject to the following conditions:

Cancellation up to 6 weeks before the start: free of charge
Cancellation up to 4 weeks before the start: 25% of the course fee remains due.
Cancellation up to 3 weeks before the start: 35% of the course fee remains due.
Cancellation up to 2 weeks before the start: 50% of the course fee remains due.
Cancellation up to 1 week before the start: 75% of the course fee remains due.
If cancellation takes place afterward, the course fee remains fully due.

In the unlikely event that a course is canceled, we will let you know at least 2 days before the start. The following reasons can lead to the cancellation of a course:

The group is too small (less than 4 registrations)
The teacher is ill and cannot be replaced
Extreme weather conditions
Unforeseen circumstances

In case of cancellation on our part, the full course amount will be refunded to the student's account within two weeks, unless it is possible for the student to take the course at a different time.

Article 6: Absence
If the student is not present for any reason on a course day/evening (or part thereof) without deregistering, the (part of) course fee will not be refunded. The lesson can possibly be caught up in consultation at a different time and/or at a different location for a fee to be determined by Aimée Vriend Holistic Massage & Beauty Studio. If the student has indicated before the start of the course that he/she cannot be present on a certain date, the student will be given the opportunity, if possible, to follow the course day/evening on another date without additional costs.

Article 7: Deviating conditions with regard to the study program

Registration for the training takes place in writing in order of entry. Unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing, participation is final after payment of the total training fee owed.
It is possible to pay the course fee for the training in 3 installments. A payment agreement is drawn up for this, which is signed by both parties.
Course participants register for the entire course. If the student decides to stop the training earlier, there will be no refund of the course fee already paid. Participants who have agreed on installment payments are obliged to comply with all payment obligations as agreed in the payment agreement.

Article 8: Cancellation of the training

If the student wishes to cancel his registration for the training, the cancellation conditions as referred to in Article 5 apply.
When the training is canceled by Aimée Vriend Holistic Massage & Beauty Studio, the already paid training amount will be refunded to the student within two weeks.

Article 9: Course material and copyright
The copyright of the course material used by Aimée Vriend Holistic Massage & Beauty Studio belongs to Aimée Vriend Holistic Massage & Beauty Studio. Nothing may be copied or made public in any other way without prior written permission. The ownership of the course material issued by Aimée Vriend Holistic Massage & Beauty Studio lies with the student. Aimée Vriend Holistic Massage & Beauty Studio is not liable for (adverse) consequences caused or to be caused by the course material used by Aimée Vriend Holistic Massage & Beauty Studio.

Article 10: Warranty and complaints

Paragraph 1: Aimée Vriend Holistic Massage & Beauty Studio guarantees that the lessons paid by the student are actually given. Aimée Vriend Holistic Massage & Beauty Studio guarantees the quality and reliability of the courses and continuously optimizes this quality and reliability, in particular through extensive refresher courses.
Paragraph 2: At the end of each course / training, the participants are asked to complete and return an evaluation form.
Paragraph 3: Questions of an administrative nature are usually answered within 5 working days.
Paragraph 4: Questions about the content of the courses / training are usually answered within 3 working days.
Paragraph 5: Questions that require a longer processing time are usually answered within 5 working days with a confirmation of receipt and an indication of when a detailed answer can be expected.
paragraph 6: All information provided by students is confidential for Aimée Vriend Holistic Massage & Beauty Studio and its employees.
Paragraph 7: Guest teachers are asked to sign a contract with a confidentiality clause.
Paragraph 8: Any complaints can be submitted in writing to the management of the Aimée Vriend Holistic Massage & Beauty Studio and will be dealt with and answered in writing.
Paragraph 9: If the complaint cannot be resolved by mutual agreement, a dispute arises that is subject to the complaints procedure. This complaints procedure is public (website) and can be requested from Aimée Vriend Holistic Massage & Beauty Studio.

Article 11: Special provision
Aimée Vriend Holistic Massage & Beauty Studio has the right to exclude participants who, after repeated warnings, continue to hinder or disrupt the course of the lessons from further participation. Participants who are excluded from further participation for this reason are not entitled to a refund of the course fee.

Article 12: Applicable law
All agreements concluded between the training institute and the student and / or the representative of this student, will be exclusively governed by Dutch law.
The above General Terms and Conditions are available to the student at all times in such a way that the student can take note of them in good time.
